Description
The GSG Firefly SD is a 10% smaller semi-automatic pistol in the design of a SIG SAUER P226 in .22lr caliber with the same system and the same safety functions. It differs from its big sister only in that it is a fixed-barrel with blowback system.
Equipped with an ergonomic polymer grip and black plastic grip panels, single and double-action trigger, Picatinny rail for attaching a laser or bridge mount, metal magazine, ambidextrous slide mounted safety selector, decocking lever and adjustable sights.
In addition, the GSG Firefly is equipped with a magazine safety and a child safety device, which can be activated or deactivated with an enclosed key.
The GSG Firefly SD also comes with an extended barrel with a barrel thread (M9 x 0.75) and screwed-on threaded cap.
Compatible with the silencer adapter to ½ x 28 (available separately).
Popular with sports shooters but also with hunters as a universal and inexpensive catch firearm for trap hunting. It’s also an excellent training pistol to familiarize with centerfire pistols.
