Description
The Holosun HS407A3 X2 is an open reflex optical sight designed for full-sized pistol applications. The HS407A3 X2 improves on previous versions by adding Lockout Mode which was first introduced in our 2018 LEM pistol optic models. Lockout Mode, when activated, locks the buttons preventing inadvertent setting changes.
Additional features include Holosun’s Red Super LED with up to 50k hour battery life, precision 3MOA dot, and Shake Awake. The durable housing is CNC milled 7075 Aluminum, uses an industry standard footprint, and houses the CR1632 battery in a side-mounted tray for easy replacement when needed.
The Holosun HS407A3 X2 is effectively identical to the HS407C X2 minus the solar failsafe option and with a 3 MOA dot versus a 2 MOA dot.

Additional Information
The Holosun HS407A3 X2 sight comes well packaged within a plastic box, sitting wrapped a white card sleeve. The interior of the box is padded with a soft, dense foam lining and contains a few essential items:

The body of the HS407A3 X2 is machined from 7075 T6 Aluminium, the surface is then anodized in black and the various markings/trades are etched in white and red. An individual serial number sits on the left hand side, a nice touch that appears on all the Holosun optics and worth recording in case of theft or warranty concerns. Note that the optic does not come with a rail adapter. The sight is flat-bottmed, ready to mount directly to an RMR cut mount or slide.
The sight is also rated as IP67, therefore perfectly suited to wet or dusty environments and is tested to withstand vibrational shock of up to 5000G and work between temperatures of -30°c and +60°c. Finally and possibly most importantly, the sight weighs a mere 1.5 ounces (43g) which is light enough to not drastically slow down a gas blowback airsoft gun, let alone a firearm.
